Here is my 13 month old walking on a treadmill and he looks like he loves it! He's not walking on his own quite yet but seems to have the treadmill thing down!

Ian Baker...duh! ha. I will warn you the following video is a little on the long side...I was trying to get the perfect set of moves.  I have a feeling we may have a fabulous dancer on our hands...and trust me, he didn't get this talent from his father or his mother...

and on a side note...this little dude is 7 months today!! I had to move the iPad because it was a thing of interest and I couldn't get him to focus on the ultra hip photographer...

Solids...

Well...as we start the next chapter of having a baby-solid foods-I have been struggling to decide how to approach this step.  There are so many theories out there on the "best" way to start giving your baby solids...so, I've decided, in true AP fashion, to make it as difficult as possible! But, I believe (!) that no matter what we do, Ian will eventually grow into a fine young man...that can eat normally-hopefully.

The Vegas...baby...

Ian took his first plane ride on Monday. He did awesome! Dad and baby hit up the casinos and had some quality one-on-one time. I think Dad really enjoyed his bonding time. It was a quick trip but Ian did fantastic in the hotel and rocked the plane ride home.  Everyone around us said he was the best baby they've ever flown with...that's my boy.

After a long hiatus from the blog, I'm happy to announce our little man is finally here! After several awesome baby showers given to us by our family & friends (who we will never be able to thank enough! and we were completely overwhelmed with the support we received) he come eight days early, but that's okay...we couldn't wait any long anyway :)

we are born, then we grow, and now we're here-with a lot of little things happening in between.

 

for some strange reason i decided kooper needed a hair cut.  so, i took him to our local groomer's and had him shaved...it took me several days to get used to his new 'look'.  i've realized for a long time now that he is aging-his hair is turning grey and his eyes are starting to get cloudy- that it is a very hard thing for me to accept and i'm not sure i ever will. but, anyway, with his new 'do' i can see a lot more of his 'wiseness'...
