After years of all talk and no action...rb has finally forced me to put my money where my mouth is by buying me a rode bike for Christmas. I took the KCMultisport Power Hour Spin class that lasted through March and now I'm technically ready to ride. The Power Hour class included riding my bike on a trainer two times a week...obviously for an hour. ;) But, when we tried to ride a measly one mile to the gym I panicked. The road bike is not like riding the trusty ol' mountain bike. With the new bike my shoes click into the pedals, locking my feet to the bike, the brakes are in a "new" spot, and i feel like i have to look like a professional while I'm riding this fancy pants bike. It's all just tooooooo much pressure!
And yes, my bike shorts have padding in the boo-tay...

ReplyDeleteThat all sounds very complicated?? Be careful:)
Now I know why bikers wear spandex...it's because of the boo-tay protector. Great video. I'm still laughing.
ReplyDeleteLove it.. you look very professional! Chris keeps trying to get me to consider bikes. I have a feeling that they would be parked in the garage the entire time. The rode bike sounds a little complicated.... yes, be careful!
